Ten Thousand Villages Soap

Ten Thousand Villages Soaps are handmade by artisans of Palam Rural Centre in Tamil Nadu, India. Palam employs members of the Harijan ("untouchables") caste, and provides health care and schooling for artisan families. These handcrafted soaps are made using palm oil grown on local plantations. This palm oil provides work to local farmers and does not contribute to deforestation.

Sandalwood Soap:Known as a beauty soap, it is made primarily with palm and coconut oil. Contains pure sandalwood oil, blended with a compound extracted from sandalwood logs.
